The Labyrinth

The suburb is a landscape of walls. Physical and inner walls, impossible to cross: boundaries of life, society, thought. Every wall is a closure, a sentence to waiting, to the illusion of a passage that may not exist. Photography then becomes an act of resistance: it does not open the way out, but exposes the very impossibility, the urgency of a gaze that refuses resignation. For in the walls of the suburbs the human fate is reflected: always seeking the breach, only to discover that the labyrinth is life itself.
